Student Work: Radio

Student Work: Radio
A lot of copywriters struggle with radio writing, and I am not one of them. The projects below are some of my best-recieved pieces.
Advertising Student
This project was actually to test out my GarageBand skills after a brief tutorial. I wrote the copy in about five minutes and edited the first take as the final product. WARNING: this gets a little fuzzy/screamy at the end.
"Letting Go"
Spot for Imaginary Client
My final project for 'Writing for Radio,' this spot was for an actual car dealership in Arnold, MO. The head honcho was interested in putting together a car flea market for used car buyers and sellers, offering the dealership's services to certify the vehicles and create a warranty program to give the buyer peace of mind and get the car off of the seller's hands.

One Client, Two Voices
The Home Depot
The Daddy Store
The first of two spots in different voices for The Home Depot, a little girl gets dragged along to The Daddy Store, a situation with which I was all too familiar as a child.
Kitchen Renovation Survival Diary
From the perspective of an ugly brown microwave, kitchen renovation with The Home Depot is downright terrifying.
Weapons of Mass Education
Take thirty minutes, a fake client and two classmates. Come back with a sixty-second radio spot, ready to perform.
